The Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager is responsible for the efficient and profitable planning, direction and control of the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Department, including vehicle acquisition and inventory management, attaining projected sales objectives and bottom-line results. As an integral part of the team, this position is responsible to: supervise, direct, and lead in all aspects of the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales operation develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the inventory and customer base manage vehicle acquisition and pricing to ensure performance ratings and profitability establish and maintain standards for vehicle trade-in evaluation and reconditioning; actively evaluate pre-owned vehicles for inventory and reconditioning maintain a well-balanced inventory and sell each vehicle with maximum gross and minimum expense manage aging inventory determine correct purchasing and price evaluation decisions when purchasing vehicles plan and execute monthly and annual objectives for vehicle sales, gross profit, and expense management work closely with Sales Representatives; coaching and improving performance relating to vehicle and product sales, including vehicle trade-in opportunities Qualified candidates will bring: at least three (3) years of proven experience and success as a Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager in a high-volume dealership proven experience with vehicle pricing and inventory management valid OMVIC license experience supervising a team of people, with a focus on talent management and customer service valid provincial driver’s license experience working with dealership ERP and CRMs (ie.
