Job Summary:
The General Duty Radiation Therapist Treatment Planning (RTTP) supports the Radiation Oncology Program by contributing to all aspects of the treatment planning process. This includes, but is not limited to simulation consults, image import, structure creation and generating plans for treatment. In addition, they contribute to didactic and/or clinical instruction for radiation therapy students, radiation oncology residents and other staff/students as required.

Education
Graduate from an accredited school of Radiation Therapy who is eligible to be an active practicing member of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technology (CAMRT)
Required Licenses, Registrations, Designations
Current CAMRT registration
Preferred
Bachelor of (Radiation) Science, Health Science Degree
Advanced Credentials: CT Therapy Certificate (CTRT), Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD), CAMRT Dosimetry Certificate (CDC)
Asset
Experience with related software and radiation therapy equipment
CAMRT full length courses or other RT related courses
Recent treatment planning experience
An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
