Position Responsibilities Lead Empowered Teams to Deliver Exceptional Outcomes: Guide and inspire AI, ML, and Analytics development teams to execute a unified vision, creating holistic and integrated solutions that exceed customer expectations. Drive an Outcome-Focused AI/ML Vision: Define and champion an innovative, market-leading AI/ML vision for Digital Services, including a next-generation AI and data-platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs. Inform and Execute Data Strategy: Engage in the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy that encompasses data requirements, acquisition, quality, and governance to support informed decision-making. Cultivate Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers to facilitate successful AI/ML outcomes and drive collaborative initiatives. Champion a Culture of Curiosity and Innovation: Foster an environment that values continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation, empowering teams to adapt to the rapid pace of technological advancements. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experiences): 7+ years leading applied, cross-functional data science development teams. 5+ years management experience. 5+ yrs demonstrated experience building and deploying predictive maintenance solutions. Demonstrated experience championing innovation to bring AI, ML, and Analytics solutions into a software development organization. Must be legally able to work in Canada. Must be eligible for authorization under Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP). Must be able to obtain Canadian Secret Level II Security Clearance. Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods. Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data. Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience): Aviation domain experience. Expertise in the following: Natural language programming (NLP). Reliability-driven predictive maintenance. Advanced prognostic development. Time-series analysis. Experience with Azure-deployed applications and APIs. Experience developing generative AI solutions. Starting salary will be based on a year of post-secondary education completed, qualifications and experience. Salary pays range - $118,000.00 - $210,000.00 CAD This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance Level II from the Canadian government.
