Who are we looking for?
Our Waterloo office is looking for a Business Development Representative.
Working directly with the sales team and be expected to have a critical impact on the organization and revenue by contacting assigned customer accounts or prospects to sell company products within a designated geography or industry. Focus on meeting personal sales targets, developing new business, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems. Have solid knowledge of products, their characteristics, and the market. Typically requires excellent interpersonal skills and sales experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating sales pipeline using demand generation and prospecting tools
Generating business opportunities through professional networking and cold outreach
Finding new opportunities and creating strong relationships with target accounts
Exploring and identifying new opportunities in new accounts and/or buying centers
Researching and presenting business intelligence about customers and prospects
Identifying influencers and key decision-makers within accounts

Experience and Qualifications:
2+ years’ experience in a sales or sales development role
Bonus: Experience within the Government, Education or Healthcare space or within a B2B technology company
