As a key member of Everest Canada’s programs division and reporting to the VP Programs and Fronted Solutions you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of MGA’s and Affinity Programs, day-to-day underwriting operations, program management and development and implementation of strategies and initiatives to continue to drive growth and profitability. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Develop and execute strategic initiatives that support growth, profitability, and retentions Review and Analyze Monthly Program Reports Referral Management MGA and broker relationship management Training, Development and Mentorship of Programs Underwriting Assistants Special projects and other duties or responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications, Education & Experience: Minimum 5 years Property / Casualty Underwriting High School diploma required College degree preferred Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Strong oral and written communication, analytical and computer skills. Bilingual English and French preferred Strong Excel skills Ability to maintain excellent relations with MGA’s, reinsurers and brokers providing superior service. Team oriented and ability to work effectively with peers.
