Are you a strategic leader with a passion for real estate? We're seeking a dynamic Director, Commercial Leasing to drive the success of our commercial portfolio. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead leasing operations, forge strong tenant relationships, and implement innovative strategies to maximize occupancy and profitability. Key Responsibilities:
Developing Leasing Strategies: Creating and implementing plans to attract and retain tenants.
Marketing Properties: Collaborating with marketing teams to promote available spaces.
Negotiating Lease Agreements: Handling the negotiation and execution of lease contracts.
Managing Tenant Relationships: Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with tenants.
Ensuring Compliance: Making sure all leasing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Leading Leasing Teams: Supervising and mentoring leasing consultants and agents.
Analyzing Market Trends: Monitoring market conditions to stay competitive.
Financial Analysis: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to analyze and clearly communicate lease deal economics and scenarios.
Budgeting: Support the creation and approval of annual operating, capital, and leasing budgets; monitor budget adherence and recommend corrective measures as needed.
Internal Collaboration: Coordinate closely with property management, marketing, construction, legal, and finance teams to ensure alignment in lease terms, space readiness, and tenant fit-out requirements.
Industry Reputation Promotion: Build and maintain strong relationships with the brokerage and real estate community to drive traffic and leasing momentum.
About You:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial real estate marketing and leasing
Proficient in MS365 applications
Ability to proofread documents for completion and accuracy
Working knowledge of legal documents including lease agreements and amendments, etc.
Yardi experience is an asset
Real Estate license is an asset

Ability to manage multiple leasing deals simultaneously
