You will provide guidance and coaching to work crews ensuring field operations are being conducted in a safe and effective manner. Our work is difficult but we get it done safely, with great people, all while having a laughSkill development and opportunity for growthKey Duties & Responsibilities:Coach and mentor workers on safe work practices/procedures, quality workmanship and productivityOperate and maintain chemical cleaning equipment and other specialty toolsConduct performance management of workersEnsure workers have adequate experience, training and technical information to complete the job safelyProvide crew with adequate oversight and daily work instructionsEnsure manpower is allocated to align with project requirementsCoordinate required material and equipment per job requirements, working with Superintendent to acquire itemsEnsure that all tools and equipment have been inspected and are in good repairCommunicate work progress, schedule variance, crew and safety performance to the Supervisor frequentlyCheck on job status and provide positive and negative feedback on job performance to workersEnsure worker adherence to all company health, safety and environmental standards, policies and procedures and maintain on going knowledge of local, provincial and federal guidelines for full complianceEnsure work crews adhere to OH&S regulations and corporate HSE policiesCarry out additional duties and projects as assignedRole Specifications:3+ years of experience in the oil and gas industryMechanically inclined with a working knowledge of industrial cleaning equipmentHighly skilled experience and prior knowledge of high pressureAble to understand and communicate company policies and safe work proceduresIn depth knowledge and optimal safe execution of site job tasksBasic computer knowledge – able to use the Microsoft suite including basic excel skillsIn-depth knowledge of regulatory requirementsValid class G driver’s license and current driver’s abstract (no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years).
