The Role:
We are looking for a polished, professional, and service-driven Private Residential Property Maintenance to provide high-quality support in the maintenance and care of private residential properties. This individual will be entrusted with the ongoing upkeep of high-standard homes and a few smaller multi-residential buildings, where attention to detail, discretion, and integrity are paramount. The ideal candidate is loyal, trustworthy, and takes great pride in delivering a seamless and proactive property care experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide hands-on maintenance and general repair work across a variety of systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, and landscaping.
Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to ensure properties remain in optimal condition year-round.
Respond promptly, professionally, and courteously to service requests or urgent issues, ensuring minimal disruption.
Perform regular inspections to identify issues early and propose timely, cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate with licensed trades and service providers as required, ensuring high-quality workmanship, professionalism, and timely completion of all work.
Liaise with and oversee third-party vendors or contractors, maintaining clear communication and high standards throughout.
Ensure properties are clean, organized, secure, and consistently guest-ready, with a focus on maintaining privacy and discretion at all times.
Maintain logs and records with care and confidentiality.
Assist with seasonal tasks such as gardening support, pool/spa care, and exterior upkeep.
Support occasional events or household projects as needed, always with a client-focused mindset.
Key Qualifications
High level of personal integrity, discretion, and loyalty in handling private environments.
Demonstrated commitment to confidentiality, discretion, and the highest standard of service delivery.
Excellent customer service skills, with a polished, courteous, and respectful demeanour.
Minimum 5 years of experience in residential property maintenance, facility services, or a similar trade.
Proven ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Previous experience working in high-end residential settings or private estates is preferred, but not necessary.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position located at our various sites across the Ottawa area.
Occasional ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends to meet deliverables.
