We have an exciting opportunity to join our Controls Department as we are actively recruiting for a Controls Integration Specialist. This position reports to the Controls Integration Specialist Supervisor.

What we’re looking for
Create, develop and integrate Process and Safety PLC programs
Understand and setup machine communication protocols
Design HMI graphics, system diagnostics, status and alarm messaging
Integrate robots (Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Nachi, Motoman, Panasonic etc.) for various process applications including GMA (gas metal arc) welding, resistance spot welding, material handling, continuous path dispensing, and vision systems.
Configure and integrate resistance weld controllers and GMA power sources
Develop welding processes
Configure and integrate vision systems
Integrate servo and VFD systems
Demonstrate proficiency across a variety of software platforms
Perform machine start up and onsite commissioning at customers facilities (valid passport, drivers license and ability to travel outside of Canada required)
What you need to succeed
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Demonstrates a great work ethic and dedication
Shows genuine passion and enthusiasm for the job
Technical diploma or Engineering degree in a controls-related field
Working knowledge of MS Office
