This is a 9-Month Contract position About you Are you a Junior Accountant seeking to advance your accounting capabilities and broaden your experience within a prominent publicly traded organization? In this role, you will… You will be successfully supporting the accounting team in fulfilling their mandate to complete month, quarter and year end processes on time and accurately. Processing wire transfers and reconciling bank accounts You'll be gaining new skills and experience through learning from your colleagues. Your role will involve aiding in the preparation of working papers for accruals, allocations, journal entries, and account reconciliations across various business units. Additionally, you'll compile data for financial analysis, handle data entry and invoice issuance, and contribute to monthly accounts receivable reporting. What you’ll bring 1+ year of experience in an accounting position (transactional volume experience is preferred). Degree or Diploma in Accounting. A self-motivated individual with customer service orientation and ‘can do’ attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pursuant to the laws regarding job postings where the position is located in, Colliers is disclosing the following information: Approximate Salary Range for Role: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 This position will also come with a contract completion bonus. Paid upon completion of the full duration. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations.
