Job Description:
Perform and document compaction testing and ensure compliance with project and regulatory specifications.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date field notes, including conditions, work completed, materials used, and testing performed.
Track and report quantities of materials installed.
Oversee or assist with pipe fusing operations, ensuring proper procedures, environmental conditions, and fusion records are followed.
Conduct and/or verify pressure testing of pipelines in accordance with project specifications and standards.
Identify and report non-conformances and assist with corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with site supervisors, foremen, and engineers to resolve quality issues and ensure timely project progress.
Submit daily QC reports, test results, and inspection logs to the QC Manager or Project Engineer.
Ensure all QC activities comply with the company’s safety and environmental policies.
Location Notice:
This position is for a project located in Red Lake, Ontario. While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, we strongly encourage applications from individuals residing in or near the surrounding areas such as Fort Frances, Kenora, Dryden and other nearby communities. Preference may be given to candidates who are local to the project site due to logistical and operational considerations
