Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Landscape Architect to join our Municipal and Transportation Design Group. CIMA+’s Landscape Team is based in our Bowmanville office, but this position can be located in any of our offices in Ontario – Mississauga, Burlington, Bowmanville, London or Kitchener, The successful candidate will work with our Landscape team and collaborate with multidiscipline project teams, applying strong technical skills to help deliver a wide range of projects including parks, streetscapes, trails, road reconstruction and transit.Primary responsibilitiesWork collaboratively within multidiscipline teamsDevelop public realm and site design, from concept through to construction completionOversee the development of accurate working drawing packages and construction documentsAssist in the preparation of presentation material for public consultationSupport business development and strong client relationshipsEnsure compliance with required design principles and standardsThe ability to conduct tree inventories and complete arborist reports would be an assetQualificationsDegree in Landscape Architecture, or equivalentMinimum 5-10 years of experience in Landscape and/or Engineering Consulting environmentStrong project management skillsDedication to design excellenceAbility to manage multiple project deliverables with overlapping schedulesOALA Seal and Certificate an assetISA Arborist certification an assetGood verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong Microsoft Office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with SharePoint environmentsValid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for site visitsAt CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
