Overview:
A leading industrial solutions provider is seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Manager to manage and grow key client relationships across Alberta. This role will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with End Users, Distribution Partners, Consulting Firms, and OEMs. Success in this role will come from a combination of strong customer relationship management, technical sales expertise, and the ability to identify and meet customer needs proactively.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with a diverse client base across Alberta
Drive sales by working closely with End Users, Distributors, Consultants, and OEM partners
Coordinate with internal departments (inside sales, technical support, management) to deliver outstanding customer service
Continuously assess and address client needs, ensuring account satisfaction and retention
Develop and execute strategic account plans in alignment with company goals
Negotiate pricing and terms within authorized parameters
Conduct regular meetings with new and existing clients to identify growth opportunities
Stay current on product features, industry trends, and emerging technologies
Provide actionable market feedback to inform product development and service improvements

Qualifications:
Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Engineering or technical discipline preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic B2B sales or account management
Knowledge of electric motors and industrial product sales is highly desirable
Proven ability to manage complex relationships and close deals
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (MS Dynamics preferred)
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship

This position is field-based and requires travel throughout Alberta to visit clients
