Enterprise Workforce Management is a new capability that is being built at Citi that provides Citi leaders and managers with frameworks, standards, procedures, and tools to ensure adequate Organizational Health and Resource Management across the bank. The Workforce Management Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends and applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge within own job and the business. This role is responsible for supporting the management and implementation of Citi’s efforts around staffing, skill adequacy and organization design. Excellent communication skills are required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required as well as ability to handle ambiguity and navigate a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Regulatory issue scoping, inclusive of Regulatory Business Critical Milestone (RBCM) mapping, risk reduction and solution description, and key control and One Time Remediation (OTR) mapping, to ensure risks and root causes are being sufficiently addressed
Regulatory issue and risk reduction progress monitoring to verify corrective actions are being executed as planned and that risks and issues are being timely and effectively addressed
Regulatory issue closure, including artifact uploads and obtaining required approvals, and coordination during validation period
Monthly and quarterly progress updates to management, Board and Regulators
Draft RBCM closure summaries to ensure there is clear linkage between what each RBCM delivered and its contribution to the mapped regulatory issue
Represent EWM achievements and respond to QA, IA, and regulator questions
Have firm understanding of the business and HR needs and priorities to inform the execution of workforce management/human capital strategy globally
Lead projects and generate new ideas and conceptual frameworks to help solve problems, provide hands-on delivery and create insightful findings and recommendations.
Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Ability to drill-down, discern and analyze data to provide insights for the business
Qualifications:
6-10 years of experience
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred; managerial experience
