As the Dealer Assignment Associate, you will be focused on the manual assignment of vehicle orders to a dealership in order to complete the delivery that is selected based on established guidelines. The Dealer Assignment Associate will complete the review and re-evaluation for possible diversions when there is an order change to ensure the notification of the change is updated with our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners. You will also be the last step of the factory order placement process before transmission to the OEM. The client’s experience is most important and providing exceptional service ensures we assign the order correctly and minimize any significant financial impact to Element and the client. Putting in the appropriate effort into the unique dealer assignment situations can significantly reduce costs for our clients. A Day in the Life Vendor/Client Management (40%) Manual dealer assignment of orders Work with OEM partners and internal partners to process client changes while maintaining positive interactions and relationships Evaluate and process order changes Support requests from our network of dealer partners Data Management (30%) Guide and influence clients through vehicle orders Explain delivery expectation associated with established guidelines Obtain and record status of new factory vehicle delivery orders Salesforce Service Cloud – resolve cases involving client/dealer partner concerns (status, move request, temp tag expiring, damage, install status, etc.) Maintain accurate and up to date records on the status of unresolved issues Trouble Shooting (20%) Take appropriate action to resolve orders that have incomplete instructions Work with internal teams to resolve dealer related issues Collaboration (10%) Support departmental initiatives for best acquisition and dealer assignment policies Interact with cross-functional teams as necessary to research and resolve issues Requirements High school diploma (or equivalent); 2 – 4 year post-secondary degree preferred 1 – 3 years of business experience required, with direct client or vendor interaction preferred Experience working within financial services, automotive or fleet industry preferred Experience with MS Office Suite, experience utilizing Salesforce preferred High attention to detail required Ability to make confident and informed decisions that will directly impact our clients Must be able to make critical decisions when there are obstacles hindering vehicle delivery or client experience Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently The hiring base salary range for this position is $51,800 to $71,200 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
