Job DescriptionThe Project Engineer will lead projects and coordinate engineering activities within a multidisciplinary team based on the Greater Montreal Area. They will be responsible for the design of municipal engineering structures and site development for small, medium, and large-scale projects. This is a unique opportunity for a Project Engineer to take on new responsibilities, showcase their leadership and pursue their career within a team recognized in the industry for its standards of excellence and diverse client base.Primary ResponsibilitiesAct as a Project Engineer and/or discipline lead on multidisciplinary projectsCoordinate the technical aspects of projects with the client, and other disciplines and stakeholders involvedDevelop solutions to guide work teamsCarry out the design for sewer and water main networks, roadways, and site developmentWrite study reportsPrepare drawings and specifications, as well as cost estimatesEnsure work monitoring management and supervise on-site techniciansEnsure the administrative management of the various projects (budget, amendment, and schedule management)Guide and support junior engineers in their daily tasksSupport the office director in carrying out market development activitiesParticipate in the drafting of proposalsFacilitate and lead meetings with clientsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an equivalentMember of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)At least five years of experience (ideally eight) in municipal infrastructure in CanadaAbility for teamworkInitiative and proactive attitudeAbility to work under minimum supervisionFacility establishing relationships with clients and contributorsAbility to manage simultaneous priorities on several projectsThoroughness, attention to detail and design qualityInterest for the integration of best practices in terms of sustainabilityUp-to-date knowledge of innovationsExperience designing and delivering projects for the City of Laval and/or the City of MontrealKnowledge of PCSWMM, Civil3D and AutoCAD softwareBilingualism : Bilingual proficiency is a fundamental criterion for our engineering roles, ensuring effective engagement with stakeholders such as clients, cross-functional teams, and regulatory bodies in both French and English nationwideHere is a great project we handled & made projet Ste-CatherineFor more information about this job offer, please contact Ibrahima Amadou LY#LI-HybridAdditional InformationEthics and integrity are fundamental values at CIMA+.
