As a Junior Project Manager at Deep Sky, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and delivery of our Direct Air Capture (DAC) projects. You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of these complex projects. This position offers hands-on experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects while contributing to our broader mission to combat climate change.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
Monitor project schedules and ensure tasks are completed on time
Support in tracking project progress and identifying potential risks or delays
Assist in budget tracking and cost control activities to ensure projects stay within budget
Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and project reports
Assist in the procurement and coordination of contractors and vendors
Lead vendor coordination, ensuring equipment delivery within schedule and budget, tracking vendor progress and coordinating document review
Support project meetings by preparing agendas, minutes, and action items
Help prepare progress reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders
Provide general project support across multiple project phases, including design, construction, and commissioning
Travel to site required and expected
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field
Experience or internships in project management or related areas (energy and infrastructure sectors are a plus)
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive in identifying and mitigating project risks across all phases
A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to address challenges as they arise
An eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) is beneficial

Total Project Cost
Provide a rough order-of-magnitude cost estimate for the facility.
Clearly state your assumptions, major cost categories, and any uncertainties.

Outline the major phases and milestones from concept to commissioning.
Include indicative timelines and dependencies between phases.

Deliverables:
A 3-slide presentation, suitable for a 10–15 minute discussion with the Senior Project Manager
