WHAT YOU'LL DO Lead and advocate the Health and Safety Program at AMA and ensure its alignment with AMA’s health and safety objectives and culture. Develop and facilitate Health and Safety education to AMA employees. Train and advise employees on safety protocols and procedures. Coordinate emergency preparedness programs and ensure complete set up. Evaluate AMA’s Health and Safety Program, such as Health and Safety audits, emergency response techniques, and develop action plans for improvements. Conduct incident investigations and train appropriate employees in the proper approach. Assess ergonomics and tools for employees’ workstations and facilities. Act as a WCB liaison and compile Health and Safety statistics, documentation and WCB reporting. Participate in Health and Safety meetings. WHAT YOU'VE DONE You have a university degree, post-secondary diploma or certificate in a related field. You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Health & Safety role. You are a certified Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP). You are familiar with Provincial Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
