Job Summary: Reporting directly to the Manager of Corporate Business Development, you will help build and maintain a pipeline of M&A opportunities for North America. This will involve discovering and qualifying potential acquisition targets with companies in the transit and mobility space using creative methods for outreach. Job Description: Core Responsibilities Execute targeted outreach (cold calling, email, and LinkedIn) for the M&A team to penetrate new accounts and build relationships with potential targets while maintaining confidentiality, integrity and professionalism Perform preliminary business analysis to determine if prospects fit our acquisition criteria. Identify and review relevant conferences and tradeshow lists to evaluate the level of interest of exhibitors and add new accounts to the database Use Salesforce to maintain and build a database of potential M&A targets, and track appointments, correspondence and progress through the M&A pipeline. Travel (approximately 10%) as required. What you bring to the role: Undergraduate degree (Business/Finance/Economics preferred) Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work with minimal direction while still meeting targets and deadlines. Outgoing personality and willingness to aggressively market Modaxo through outbound outreach and networking. 1 -2 years of experience in a sales or business development role would be an asset.
