We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, Mobile PLM to lead and optimize our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) strategy for our Mobile products portfolio.
This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of our products, driving growth of the category through innovative products that differentiate NETGEAR in the market and delight our customers with intuitive and engaging UX.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mobile (Cellular/Mobile Broadband) product development leadership in transformational organizations and an ability to operate with creativity while working with cross-functional teams to deliver products and services to the market.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days a week in office at our Richmond, BC office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive Mobile Products PLM strategy
Lead a team of Mobile PLM managers to support the end-to-end lifecycle of mobile products and execute the Mobile PLM strategy for revenue growth.
Drive modernization the UX for Mobile products with a focus on improving NPS and services revenue
Drive innovation in the Mobile products portfolio that differentiate and delight customers through a through awareness of competitive positioning.
Collaborate with UX/UI teams to integrate best practices into the product lifecycle, ensuring a modern and seamless user experience.
Work closely with engineering, software, and business teams to streamline product NPI’s and deliver initiatives to market on time.
Oversee the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of PLM systems and processes
Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of Mobile PLM specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Drive PLM outcomes that execute to the Business goals of the Mobile BU
Conduct regular market analysis and demonstrate a thorough understanding of technology trends, competitive updates, pricing, and user requirements.
Participate and drive Business Development, Training, and Industry Events activities worldwide for responsible products.
Serve as an internal expert as well as an external spokesperson and evangelist for NETGEAR on Mobile products and technology.
Requirements:
5+ years experience leading a Product development team
Experience in mobile broadband products and mobile data solutions, with in-depth knowledge of Global Carrier businesses, Cellular and eSIM technologies, associated Data plans, and emerging eSIM MVNO strategies.
Natural leader who can provide a vision of growth for the Mobile product portfolio
Experience in monetizing services revenue lines
Experience working with Mobile Carrier Strategy and Carrier Sales cycles
Board Cellular technology experience and understanding emerging trends in Cellular technology and carrier markets that would influence a Mobile PLM strategy
Understanding of consumer and Business connected hardware, wireless networking, and IoT markets is a plus.
Experience working directly with engineering, IT, and UI/UX teams to define, develop, and deliver software and end to end product.
Knowledge and experience with analytics for decision-making and BI tools such as Tableau, Google Analytics.
Experience in go-to-market and launch strategies for customer apps and services.
Ability to clearly articulate, influence, and gain support for project vision.
