Job Summary Job Description You know that IT Disaster Recovery has nothing to do with spilling coffee on your keyboard. You are ready to use your analytical and organizational skills to guide and support application teams with their DR plans and exercise participation. You are also completely comfortable with adjusting your hours to manage DR exercises several weekends through the year. We are a risk team, working to ensure that our technology can be successfully recovered in the event of an outage. The successful candidate for this role will use this risk-forward view to coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are met. What you will do Work with application and infrastructure teams to complete and maintain their DR plans. Identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks and use problem solving skills to support stakeholders, escalating where appropriate Participate in the planning and facilitation of DR exercises; engaging with stakeholders, coordinating with network and infrastructure teams, reviewing exercise results, updating records, and so on Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes Contribute to ongoing administrative program activities as required What you need to succeed Must have Undergraduate degree coupled with 3-5 years experience in an IT environment; preference for some experience in disaster recovery or risk management Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with good presentation skills Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously Nice to have Experience using ServiceNow platform Ability to update/maintain SharePoint and internal website What’s in it for you?
