Job Description: Partner with Caterpillar and customer teams to improve KPIs such as mechanical availability and productivity. Lead site performance initiatives using data trends and analytics. Act as a strategic advisor on equipment selection, product support, and long-term fleet management. Coordinate product issue resolution and ensure alignment with customer and Finning metrics. Build and maintain strong relationships across customer departments including operations, engineering, maintenance, and procurement. Represent Finning in all customer interactions, ensuring trust, transparency, and alignment with strategic goals. Monitor site performance metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with Caterpillar and Finning teams on account recovery and performance improvement strategies. Identify and generate leads for equipment, product support, and technology solutions. Lead internal Finning initiatives to ensure product health and application best practices. Use the Mining Account Plan to align site activities with long-term strategic goals. Influence operational practices to meet quality, safety, and performance targets. Qualifications: 7 + years of progressive leadership experience in mining, service, or equipment operations. College or university degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. Strong background in Caterpillar equipment, product support, and warranty practices. Experience working directly with mine site operations and executive-level stakeholders. Deep understanding of mining cost-per-ton factors and equipment performance metrics. Strong communication, relationship-building, and conflict resolution skills. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority. Technical product expertise and familiarity with Finning’s operational structure. Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative, data-driven solutions.
