Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? RBC Dominion Securities is currently seeking a dynamic Telemarketer, Business Development. You will be a people person who loves social interactions and building relationships. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the wealth management industry with a top-performing team. This opportunity is a one-year contract with full-time hours. What will you do? Cold-call potential clients to book financial reviews with an Investment Advisor Assist in retrieving key documents Assist with the proposal development process Develop and nurture the business opportunity leads and the sales pipeline through cold-calls, follow-up calls, and emails Provide the Investment Advisor with regular updates regarding client leads Assist with the advisory team’s social media prospecting strategy, marketing initiatives, and adding leads to the newsletter database What do you need to succeed? Must-have Ability to make proactive phone calls to introduce new services Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients with English and French-speaking needs Motivation to achieve goals while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills Self-confidence and demonstrated ability to influence outcomes in conversations Ability to handle rejection and stay positive Ability to work independently Ability to multi-task and prioritize work Nice-to-have Experience communicating with clients by phone in a contact/call centre Sales experience Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) University degree Understanding of entrepreneurs and business owners What’s in it for you?
