Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? RBC Portfolio Management and Credit Strategies team is hiring a Manager, Decision Rules Development. You will help all assigned work items through all phases including requirements (business, functional and non-functional) definition, scoping, planning, development of business & technical rules, testing, implementation, and post-implementation review. You will also assure the quality of deliverables are fit for use, supportable, and maintainable. What will you do? Advance development and design solutions that satisfy the business needs while staying in line with the overall business strategy Pro-actively communicate and collaborate with business clients to analyze their business requirements and deliver the appropriate artifacts as needed: business requirement documents, functional specifications, data specifications, use cases, developing business & Technical rules, debugging etc. Ensure design leverages existing reusable components, traces back to business requirements, and that new modules are designed with reusability in mind Build, execute, improve and maintain test cases through standard methodologies, closely monitor test results for swift feedback Conduct data analysis and create reports as needed using different analytical languages Experience in projects utilizing Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies What do you need to succeed? Must Have A Passion for learning new technologies and applying them in new ways to enable development teams 5 years of hands-on experience with Python, SAS, Eclipse IDE, DB2. In-depth knowledge of data analytics for investigation and reporting Black Box, Functional, Integration, and Regression testing Nice to Have Experience with IBM Decision Center, Decision Server and Decision Warehouse administration Detail understanding of Personal & business products offered through different credit application systems. Experience with SOAP UI Familiar with using GitHub What’s in it for you?
