We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Privacy Non-Financial Risk Specialist to support all Business Lines and Functions across Morgan Stanley and promote fair, transparent, and lawful practices related to the processing of Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The successful applicant will work within Privacy NFR and focus on assisting with the management of the privacy program, which could include risks and controls assessments, monitoring and testing, training, assisting with policies and procedures, and governance activities for key meetings. In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm’s management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is a director level position within the Legal and Compliance Department who is charged with day-to-day oversight and coordination of the Firm's compliance with core regulatory requirements covering all businesses including Institutional Sales and Trading (fixed income, commodities, equities), Investment Banking, Research, Investment Management, and the Infrastructure Divisions. Read on… What you’ll do in the role: The Privacy Coverage Specialist will be primarily focused on supporting first line business units on a global basis, with a focus on privacy risk assessments. Specifically, the Privacy Coverage Specialist will be responsible for: Working directly with Business, Risk, and LCD stakeholders to perform privacy risk assessments. Conducting privacy control assessments and oversight, as needed. Producing guidance and assisting with training initiatives, as needed. Advising Business stakeholders on privacy-related issues in products and services, in coordination with Privacy Legal Undertaking reporting and ad-hoc projects and supporting governance functions such as privacy-related committees and working groups, as needed.
