We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to manage technology initiatives, oversee vendor relationships, and coordinate IT procurement activities. This role requires strong organizational skills and technical knowledge to ensure successful project delivery and optimal vendor partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Vendor Management
Establish and maintain relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and contractors
Evaluate vendor performance against service level agreements and project deliverables
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with technology suppliers
Coordinate vendor activities and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Conduct regular vendor reviews and manage escalation processes
Maintain vendor database and documentation
IT Procurement
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT equipment, software, and services
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications
Research and evaluate technology solutions to meet business needs
Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation
Ensure compliance with budgetary constraints and approval processes
Track procurement timelines and coordinate delivery schedules
Maintain inventory records and asset management systems
Cost Management and Control
Develop and monitor project budgets to ensure adherence to financial constraints
Track and analyze IT spending across vendors, projects, and departments
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost optimization strategies
Prepare financial reports and variance analysis for stakeholders
Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate budget forecasting
Monitor resource allocation and utilization to maximize ROI
Implement cost control measures and approval workflows
Technical Knowledge of IT Systems
Understand enterprise IT infrastructure including networks, servers, and cloud platforms
Coordinate technical implementations and system integrations
Collaborate with IT teams to assess technical requirements and compatibility
Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during project execution
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Assist in technical documentation and knowledge transfer activities
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
2-3 years of experience in IT project coordination or vendor management
Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and procurement processes
Proven experience in cost management and budget control
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
Experience with ITIL framework
Knowledge of contract law and procurement regulations
Familiarity with enterprise software and cloud technologies
Experience with financial analysis and budget forecasting tools
Working Conditions
Full-time position with standard business hours
