Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Labourers for work with Technical Workforce Inc at the Stephen Avenue project in Calgary, AB.
Please Note: This is for local hires only. There are no camp accommodations, travel allowance, or living-out allowance for this position.
Responsibilities:
Assist carpenters with site access construction and site maintenance
Support with barrier repairs, fence work, and other general site tasks
Maintain cleanliness and organization on the job site
Secure and move materials as needed
Operate basic site equipment as assigned
Identify and report any site damage or hazards
Perform additional tasks as directed by the supervisor
Requirements:
CSTS & WHMIS 2015 certifications required
Equipment operation experience is an asset
Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in varied site conditions
Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull, and walk on uneven terrain
Willingness to learn through on-the-job training
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Basic carpentry tools required
Strong work ethic and a proactive, team-oriented attitude
