JOB DESCRIPTION :
We are seeking a strategic and operational leader to oversee national service activities for a world-class company specializing in solutions for the hydroelectric sector. Reporting to the VP, the National Service Director will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and the sustainable growth of aftermarket service operations across the country.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Full P&L responsibility for a business line generating approximately €40 million annually, including direct and indirect people management within a matrix organization.
Achieve growth and profitability targets for the hydroelectric service business in Canada by securing a significant order intake and ensuring high-margin execution.
Maintain a consistent monthly order intake pace of €3–5 million and build the necessary pipeline, with 100% focus on securing timely deal closures to meet business goals.
Drive year-over-year order intake growth of 20%, improve operating profit annually, and aim to exceed €50 million in annual order intake by fiscal year 2026/27.
Continue to establish and inspire accountability across the Canadian service organization, including all three service centers, by building high-performing, results-driven teams.
Develop the market potential and identify opportunities for local partnerships and strategic cooperation.
Pilot new business initiatives such as long-term service agreements, generator repairs, non-OEM footprint expansion, facility assessment and training services, and digital offerings, with the goal of generating incremental growth from new service lines each year.
Foster close collaboration with global business peers, actively working as a team to share resources, support, and drive collective business growth.
Profil
QUALIFICATIONS :
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (B.Sc. or equivalent), complemented by general management training. An MBA from a leading business school is considered an asset.
10+ years of experience in sales and project management roles within the energy sector.
Over 4 years of leadership experience managing a service organization in the energy industry.
This role requires frequent travel across Canada, with occasional visits to the U.S. and Europe.
Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams.
Demonstrated experience in delivering strong business results and growth; strategic and operational P&L management experience is a strong asset.
Fluent in business English; knowledge of French is a plus.
International and cross-cultural experience working with and leading diverse teams.
Personally and professionally growth-driven, visionary by nature, and capable of inspiring and aligning teams with growth ambitions.
Skilled in negotiating and closing customer agreements, with a strong understanding of contractual frameworks in the energy sector.
Familiarity with compliance and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) requirements.

Salaire de base entre 150 000$ à 180 000$ selon l’expérience et autour de 175 000$ à 215 000$ package.
