A company in the engineering industry seeks to employ an energetic and confident individual for the role of Engineering Stakeholder Engagement & Business Support. The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the technical teams and key stakeholders, including clients, regulators, and internal leadership, playing a critical role in building relationships, supporting negotiations, and driving business success.
Responsibilities:
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand project needs and communicate technical insights clearly and effectively
Support high-level meetings, business reviews, and contract negotiations
There will be lots of traveling involved
Represent the company at client engagements, industry events, and strategic planning sessions
Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for executive and client-level discussions
Translate technical findings into business-friendly language and identify opportunities for value-add solutions
Maintain excellent client relationships through consistent, proactive communication
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to align goals and manage expectations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Finance, Engineering (or related discipline)
Valid driver's license
Willingness to travel locally and long distance in KwaZulu-Natal
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Energetic, outgoing personality – a natural “people person”
Confident speaking in meetings, presentations, and negotiations
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Comfortable adapting to various business and technical environments
Eagerness to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary team
