Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? Reporting into the Regional Director, Transaction Banking, BC Region, you will be accountable for the management and revenue growth of a portfolio of RBC Corporate Client Group (CCG) clients, from a Treasury and Cash Management perspective. The portfolio will include Strategic Tier 1 clients, spanning across diversified sectors, with significant strategic, operational and reputational importance for the bank, while providing a gateway for various products and services, directly or indirectly impacting revenues to the business and RBC. Along with the portfolio management responsibilities, you will be collaborating with relationship coverage teams in various account planning and risk management activities that drive and enhance client relationships. What will you do? Build relationships and manage revenue growth within a portfolio of RBC CCG Transaction based clients with a focus on recognizing and supporting client needs, enhancing client relationship, and driving collaboration across other RBC product groups Deliver business advice and new insights to clients with a unique perspective, using industry and economic insights to effectively lead meaningful client discovery sessions to uncover hidden business challenges and opportunities Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to develop and execute regional sales and marketing plans that grow revenue streams and ensure business targets are achieved Develop portfolio and individual client plans in consultation with relevant stakeholders Implement client calling strategies and opportunity developing activities for existing and targeted clients in region to ensure exceptional client experience is provided while working to retain and grow revenue Work with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are implemented accurately and in a timely manner Coordinate and collaborate with Regional Team on the completion of annual relationship reviews for Strategic Tier 1 clients Support internal partners on credit risk reviews in relation to clients’ operations What do you need to succeed? Must-have 5+ years banking experience within relationship management, account management or sales role with extensive knowledge of the Cash Management Products, emerging industry trends, and the ability to speak to broader RBC strategies, relevant industry/legislative issues Proven track record providing exceptional client advice/service, achieving business plan and revenue growth in different market situations Proven negotiation skills in complex client scenarios and the ability to work with executive level stakeholders both internally and clients within the portfolio Ability to match client needs with product/structure solutions; implement developed strategies and manage projects to schedule; and prioritize in managing multiple and sometimes conflicting time demands Strong written and verbal communication skills, including exacting attention to detail related to customized contract documentation Organizational awareness with a commitment to continuous learning to ensure skills/knowledge/accreditations are up-to-date Nice to have Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation What’s in it for you?
