Join our team as a Technical Team Lead, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. How you will do it Coach and mentor branch technicians to deliver exceptional customer service and adhere to operational processes. Provide Level 1 technical support and assist with the technical development of team members. Ensure compliance with local, and federal legal requirements, maintaining high ethical standards. Lead safety initiatives and provide safety instruction to technicians and subcontractors. Act as a technical escalation point and provide on-the-job training for other technicians. A self-starter who must be able to lead and mentor a team of approx. 15-18 field technicians Troubleshoot complex system problems and offer solutions. Coordinate with the technical resource team for critical issues. Assist management in maintaining proper field operational disciplines. Provide input on training needs and development of the branch. Develop quotes and estimates for service work and submit them appropriately. Assist to schedule and assign technicians with the right skills for repairs or maintenance. Communicate with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction, address operating problems, and recommend system enhancements. Provide consultant-level services for building system repairs and enhancements. Conduct self-study to improve and maintain technical proficiency, completing all required training and certifications. Work closely with Sales on opportunities What we look for Required Requires a Refrigeration and Air Condition Mechanic Journeyman Certificate 10+ years of commercial HVAC experiences & mechanical troubleshooting experiences Valid driver's license, appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants Good verbal and written communication skills Standby schedule rotation is required Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to act independently Strong interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other external contacts Ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Technical proficiency in the relevant field This is a Bargaining Unit Position.
