Reporting to the Manager, Information Management Systems, the ETL Developer will utilize their skills to Design, implement, maintain and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code, compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests. Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations. Assesses the health and performance of software applications and databases. Establishes, participates, and maintains relationships with business units, customers and subject matter experts in order to remain apprised of direction, project status, architectural and technology trends, risks, and functional/integration issues. Preform ad-hoc loading activities required by business users (e.g. Lease Vendor Rate table, planning hierarchy) Assist with system update activities The ideal candidate: Bachelor’s Degree in technical related field (Sciences, Information Systems, Technology, Engineering) or Business Administration Minimum of 5 years experience in the following: Demonstrates experience designing, documenting, developing, and implementing ETL solutions Proficient in SAP HANA, SQL development – eg - Stored Procedures, calculation views Experience with SAP ABAP development – eg Standard extractor, process chain Experience in designing data warehouses and data marts for databases such as SAP HANA, SQL Server Experience with Integration frameworks (e.g., Mule, Camel) desirable Experience with performing unit testing, System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing Sound knowledge of SAP SLT, ECC and CAR Sound knowledge of MSSQL, Microstrategy, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready application.
