Job Summary This position is responsible for the overall leadership and management of Trade Operations Documentary Collections, Pre-Work, Reconciliation and Trade Loans. In this role, the selected candidate will manage and provide end to end support for Documentary Collection and Trade Loan business. Additionally, they are accountable for operationalizing client care strategies, maximizing transactions, processing efficiency/effectiveness, problem resolution and the integration/implementation of new initiatives and activities relating to all supported workflows. Job Description What will you do? Overall responsibility for client satisfaction relative to the support of work flows for all Trade products and the administration of related electronic delivery channels for RBC’s global client base; with a monthly transactional average of $350MM The management of a complex work flows through 3 teams; managing high risk operational steps that include the verification of collection documentation and its completion of all final settlements Responsible for effective relationship management of all partners, including, but not limited to BBE, P&CB, Capital Markets, IT, and Products/Sales Management teams Responsible for adherence to the Trade Operations Business Plan (NIE/FTE) Build and support governance processes and responsible to manage/mitigate operational risk relative to Trade Processing including AML, ICR, RCSA, IAS and BCP/DRP What do you need to succeed? Must have: Extensive operational experience in the International Trade; focused on all Trade product offerings Proven acumen in leading and coaching people Working knowledge in lean methodologies, RPA and other automation driven activities Strong business partnering experience Nice to Have Working knowledge of JTPS CDCS certified Working knowledge of TLM or other reconciliation work flows What’s in it for you?
