Job End Date Aug 31, 2026 The Department of Languages and World Literatures at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan Campus invites applications for a full-time one-year Lecturer appointment in Spanish, commencing September 1, 2025. Lecturer positions are appointments without review (i.e., non-tenure track) with the possibility of renewal for successive terms, subject to availability of funding and demonstration of teaching ability, in accordance with the Collective Agreement between UBC and the UBC Faculty Association. Preference will be given to applicants with a PhD in the field and with experience teaching at the post-secondary level. Teaching will consist of eight sections per year, with one or two sections taught in the summer terms. The successful candidate will be expected to teach language and other courses at all levels.
