As an I/O Coordinator, you will oversee the digital assets entering and leaving the facility via electronic and physical media and supports rendering on feature films. In this entry-level but mission critical role, you will have broad interaction with virtual production artists, coordinators, supervisors, technical support leads and clients.

Responsibilities
Monitor disk servers, perform backups/restores, and handle incoming/outgoing data transfers
Maintain data and asset tracking
Prepare incoming/outgoing data transfers
Collect files from clients and vendors and prepare deliveries back to them
Monitor servers and studio queue system
Troubleshoot and correct failing tasks
Partner with other production personnel to ensure shots are scheduled and delivered in a timely manner
Coordinate all client deliveries (outgoing and incoming), both physical and digital deliveries and maintain log of all deliveries
Qualifications
Minimum two (2) years of production experience in VFX facility
Systems administration skills and general technical troubleshooting experience
Shotgun, Deadline, Aspera Connect, RV, Adobe Pro/Reader, MS Office Suite, and intermediate Excel skills (required)
After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, Photoshop, Greenshot, One Click downloader (preferred)
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience with heavy schedule management in a very time sensitive atmosphere
Excellent client facing customer service skills
Diligent, resourceful, meticulous and able to thrive under pressure
Understanding of CG/VFX production pipelines, software packages, and postproduction (preferred)
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Understanding of project management, dependencies and deadline driven deliveries
Willingness to work very flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, nights, or when production schedule requires

$59,600 - $70,200 a year
This salary range is specific to applicants applying to our position in Vancouver, BC. To determine your base salary, we consider your qualifications, skills, and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary outside of this range and will also be dependent on your location.
