Job Summary The Lead BA for Shared Services will incorporate design and analysis activities across IS IT managed applications. You will work with business and operational partners to assess, research, and analyze business and system needs, while incorporating new requirements. You will resolve systems issues based on operational, client, regulatory and market requests that meet sponsor/stakeholder needs. All responsibilities will be carried out in accordance with Code of Conduct, RBC Values and Guiding Principles ensuring adherence to privacy principles. Job Description What will you do? Lead detailed design phases for small projects / stream within a medium to large projects identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues. Adhere to corporate controls (e.g. internal and external audits, information security) Build Future Capability : express a vision for change based on the awareness of business challenges and by bringing innovative approach and/or solutions to accelerate the delivery Agile Champion, work towards setting up environment to promote agility with iterative delivery model, working in collaboration attention to value focus / voice of the client to increase the rate of successful deliveries In coordination with ITPMO, provide IT support for the business functional and system analysis work leading to technical development and implementation of key development projects within the assigned budget. What do you need to succeed? Must-have: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, gathering functional and technical requirements with the ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers Previous experience working and adhering to corporate controls (e.g. internal and external audits, information security) Strong ability to document technical solutions into business terms Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Ability to effectively communicate to a wide range of stakeholders Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions Nice-to-have: Knowledge of supportive technologies in the Financial Services Industry Previous banking/ financial services industry experience What’s in it for you?
