This is a 12 month contract opportunity beginning in September 2025. As an Intern in the Private Markets Operations team, you will have the opportunity to serve as a key member of a dynamic and high-performing team that is responsible for providing investment support for IMCO’s Infrastructure, Private Equity, Global Credit and Real Estate strategies. As part of the Private Markets Operations team, you will support the Manager and Associates in contributing to the delivery of high-quality and timely investment analytics and reporting. This role will also involve working closely with internal teams (Investment Teams, Treasury, Legal, Tax, Corporate Finance) to coordinate transaction support and asset servicing, as well as contribute to a continuous improvement culture Responsibilities Include: Support the end-to-end life cycle of private investments, including assisting with securities set up, trade processing, settlements, ongoing asset servicing and investment accounting. Assist with investment closings by ensuring completeness of all necessary documentation and authorizations. Assist in the preparation of investment schedules and reports; ensuring accuracy and seeking ways to enhance and provide valuable insights. Review valuation reports and models to ensure appropriate fair values are recognized/recorded and liaise with external vendors to satisfy queries/issues. Assist with departmental projects and operational efficiency initiatives, with a focus on automation. Respond to routine and ad-hoc requests made by internal/external stakeholders while partnering with various stakeholders (e.g. Performance, Data, Front Office, etc.) to ensure quality reporting is produced on a timely basis. What do you need to succeed? Working towards an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science. Minimum of two (2) or more co-op work terms Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL, VBA or other programming languages is preferred Strong oral and written communication skills, being able to communicate comfortably with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail with demonstrated desire and aptitude for working with data applications. Strong self-management and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficient with MS Suite (Excel, Word, Power Automate, Power BI, Planner, SharePoint, Visio).
