What do we need?
We are looking for a Receiving Associate to join our supply chain team! In this role, you'll be responsible for accurately processing and inspecting all deliveries, meticulously verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders. You'll help maintain an organized and efficient layout for these incoming materials in our yard, fabrication shops and throughout our facilities. A key part of your role will be to proactively identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to incoming shipments, working alongside the broader supply chain team. You'll also partner with our shipping team to ensure smooth transitions of received materials, and safely operate equipment like a telehandler and/or forklift to unload and move incoming items. Finally, you'll communicate effectively with tri-axle truck drivers regarding deliveries and support our fabrication and construction laborers as needed to ensure materials are readily available for their tasks.
What You'll Bring
You'll have demonstrated experience in a receiving, logistics, or similar role, with a strong preference for candidates who've safely operated construction machinery such as a forklift, telehandler, or zoom boom.
You're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, capable of handling long, physically demanding days including the ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and safely, and are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
You possess superior organization skills, with a proven knack for creating and maintaining systems and structure to efficiently manage incoming inventory. Your keen attention to detail is evident, especially when meticulously verifying shipments.
You're a critical thinker who isn't afraid to bring up concerns or question discrepancies, using your intuition to ensure accuracy and efficiency in receiving processes.
You're naturally personable, bringing a happy-go-lucky attitude to your work. You approach challenges with patience and maintain a positive outlook, even when the job gets tough
You're a self-starter who can keep busy and consistently think about ways for improvement. You possess a long-term mindset and are driven by a desire for continuous improvement in receiving operations.
You have the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of the organization, ensuring clear and concise interactions.
You're highly reliable with a strong work ethic.
You have reliable transportation to our site in Wallenstein.

Compensation
Hourly Wage: $20.00-$30.00 based on experience.
