Job Summary As a Data Governance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how our organization manages and leverages data. What you’ll do Design and implement scalable data governance frameworks, policies, and standards that drive consistency and data quality across all business domains. Define and oversee stewardship responsibilities, data quality rules, and classification standards, ensuring alignment across business and technical teams. Partner with business leads, IT, legal, and compliance to identify and mitigate data risks while maximizing opportunities for automation and efficiency. Lead efforts to improve data flow, visualization, and process design—especially in Finance and other priority areas—through collaboration with the Transformation team. Champion the Data Steward community by fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and facilitating monthly councils. Track and report on data quality KPIs and compliance metrics while resolving issues through root cause analysis and ongoing process improvements. Required qualifications Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field 10+ years of experience in Finance, IT, or Data Management roles, with proven experience in data governance and stewardship. Proficiency in Power BI, data analytics, and enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CRM). Deep understanding of data governance tools, master data management platforms (e.g., Profisee), and metadata management. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a passion for stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
