Equifax is looking for a Data Analytics & Insights Manager to join our team. As a Data Analyst & Insights Manager at Equifax, you will work directly with both internal stakeholders and external clients using data and analytics to answer key industry questions and to lead thought leadership on market trends. The ideal candidate will not only have strong technical experience but demonstrate creativity and inquisitiveness and a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights and story-telling abilities. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. You will be working in a fast-paced function where digging to understand the “why” and “so what” is critical. What you'll do Collaborate with internal partners and clients to support the development of proprietary analytical products and credit market trends reports and communications. Effectively communicate analytical results, using strong data visualizations, superior presentation skills and business language to emphasize the “so what” of the analysis. Ensure thorough quality control of all analytical output, verifying the accuracy and integrity of the data and analysis, and confirming that the resulting insights are logical, intuitive, and consistent with observed trends Spearhead data investigations, identify root causes, implement effective fix or workarounds and communicate them to the team to ensure timely project delivery Project management including defining business and technical requirements, resource planning and analytical solution design. Manage a small team of Data Analysts, establishment priorities to align with the business strategy. Work in our cloud environment, leverage statistical techniques, visualization tools, and segmentation/modeling techniques to develop, optimize and maintain scalable reports and analytical solutions, insights . What experience you need: You don’t have to tick all of the bullets below, but some of following would be ideal : 7-10 years’ analytics / data science experience with expert knowledge of Python or, SQL in a large data environment 2+ years’ proven hands-on experience designing, building and implementing analytical solutions and data visualizations to solve real world problems, with limited direct supervision required. Demonstrable experience in delivering business insights with tangible tactical and strategic recommended actions Solid communication / presentation skills and the ability to multitask Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics is essential What could set you apart: A background in financial services, telecommunications or utilities. Experience working with economic, credit or fraud data. Experience with development and deployment of analytical solutions in a cloud based environment such as AWS or GCP is preferred. Master’s level degree in a business-related field/MBA.
