IT Project Coordinator
Contract role in the insurance industry supporting IT transformation and project governance. Hybrid position based in Markham (3 days onsite). Requires strong coordination, reporting, and documentation skills, with expertise in Excel, SharePoint, Jira, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities:
• Support project management activities under the direction of a Project Manager.
• Coordinate meetings, schedules, resources, and documentation.
• Assist with building reports, presentations, and status updates.
• Ensure compliance with project governance and procedural standards.
• Track progress across project phases from initiation through completion.
• Identify scheduling challenges and potential risks.
• Maintain alignment with QA, compliance, and PMO processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and follow-up on deliverables.
What you will need to succeed:
• College diploma or equivalent education.
• 5+ years of experience in project coordination or a related role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply corporate policies and guidelines.
• Experience with Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) tools is an asset.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and report on project data.
• Proven follow-through and accountability for outstanding items.
