Job Description What is the opportunity? RBC Digital Marketing is seeking a motivated and data-driven Director to join their Commercial Banking team. The Director Digital Marketing – Commercial Banking, Healthcare, & Group role has an overarching responsibility for developing best-in-class solutions across the RBC public website to increase acquisition and retention through expansion and integration of digital marketing capabilities. With a primary focus on digital marketing and lead management, you will be responsible for developing the overarching strategy and implementing initiatives to increase conversion and grow acquisition across RBC owned digital properties and channels including email, personalization, and SEO while supporting business strategies. By collaborating cross-functionally, you’ll define and enable the data, capabilities, and technology required to deliver on our performance metrics. This role will be accountable for delivering against leads, opportunities, and retention targets. What will you do? Lead the development and execution of innovative and transformational initiatives in partnership with key stakeholders including the Commercial Banking public website North Star vision. Establish a long-term vision for an integrated lead management ecosystem across the digital, advisor, and branch channels and create a go-to-market plan. Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives. Analyze market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to develop strategies and inform strategic decision-making and serve as an SME for line of business partners on digital best practices. Develop comprehensive strategic roadmaps with clear milestones, metrics, and deliverables. Achieve acquisition and retention targets across our Commercial Banking, Healthcare, and Group segments. Collaborate with internal and external teams to build new content, tools, and experiences to increase engagement and guide conversions. Plan, develop and execute digital marketing campaigns in close collaboration with marketing partners in support of business goals and objectives for client acquisition. Identify drop-offs in the digital marketing sales funnel and implement solutions to reduce leakage at each stage to maximize conversion rates. Create ongoing optimization experiments to test hypotheses to inform changes that will lead to conversion improvements. Conduct reporting and analysis on acquisition and conversion metrics. Turn data into actionable insights and business recommendations. What do you need to succeed? Must Have 10-15 years of strategy experience in digital acquisition, prospecting, and/or growth marketing preferably within financial services. Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Technology. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing transformative initiatives. 5+ years people manager experience leading a high performing data-driven team Deep understanding of conversion rate optimization, lead management, funnel optimization, and lead nurture. Experience with Google Analytics, AWS Quicksight, Semrush, Siteimprove. Familiarity in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Outstanding communication and presentation abilities. Nice to Have Experience with CRM, marketing automation, CDP and CMS platforms. Experience with Salesforce technology. Ecommerce marketing or digital product ownership experience. What’s in it for you?
