The work can be difficult, but we get it done safely with great people.Safety is Number 1: we watch out for one another and pride ourselves in doing the work right the first timeKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesPreventative maintenance and repair of specialized pressure and vacuum equipment in an efficient and timely mannerOngoing diagnostic, service and repair of diesel engines, after treatment/emissions, hydraulic systems and pumpsTroubleshoot and inspect equipment, provide diagnostic and replace or repair defective parts.Interpret and complete work ordersComplete service calls in the field as requiredIdentify and order parts as requiredAttend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduledSupports safety and continuous improvement programs.Maintain and support equipment records and repair history.Coordinate employees working in the shop to assist where and when they are ableOther duties as assigned.Role Specifications5+ years of experience working in an environment such as a mechanical/fabrication shop, on a farm, or in a similar industry where you have been repairing equipment, building structures based on design, or building custom features for equipment.Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic Certificate requiredValid Class 5 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years required.Class 1 or 3 license would be an asset.Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Able to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test for both pre-employment and client sites you may have to attend.
