The Strategy and Operations Business Management team is responsible for planning process for Risk Compliance Technology (RCT). The role is key to support program and project managers in execution of project management processes and procedures and ensuring project financial and best practice reporting, controls and project governance standards are maintained by all pillars What will you do? Lead Financial Control: Owns the accurate reporting of financials (i.e. data quality) and identifying issues that require escalation to the Project / Program / Portfolio leadership. Manage Monthly Project financials, monthly expenditure report and other financial reporting to Senior Management and Executives. Lead the accrual process and ensure resource recoveries are achieved at targeted %. Manage month end processing to ensure month end financials are completed and balanced, forecast is updating and aligned between all PM systems, variances are reported, and gaps are addressed. Support, manage and coordinate assigned pillar contracts and track resources to ensure allocations and recoveries. Identifies and recommends opportunities to enhance productivity effectiveness and operational efficiency Execute other key strategic portfolio initiatives driven by senior leaders What do you need to succeed? Must-have Professional accountancy qualification University degree or equivalent 5-7 years of financial analysis and reporting experience Comfort with creating and making executive-quality presentations and holding monthly meetings with senior leaderships Advanced Excel proficiency: Pivot table, Vlookup, index matches, etc. Proven track record in delivering against business priorities in a fast paced environment Strong team player and able to work independently with a positive attitude and "One RBC" mindset. Exemplary business acumen plus operational mindset, with demonstrated ability to lead and build sustainable, transparent relationships / partnerships Nice-to-have 2+ years in the financial services or other regulated industries Experience with Tableau, SharePoint and RBC Connect Project Management systems and tools (MIS, Planview, Confluence/JIRA) Experience with executive presentations Contract & supplier management experience would be an asset What's in it for you?
