Your Responsibilities
As a Marketing Promotion Advisor, you will/are responsible for supporting tactical plans involving shows, events and sponsorships for the Ag and Turf marketing/sales team. In addition, you will:
Coordinate, develop and execute on the regional shows and events
Manage regional sponsorship agreements that align with the sales and marketing objectives
Coordinate special promotional, educational and/or informational events for channel partners and/or customers, including, but not limited to trade shows, farm shows, fly-ins, meetings, product introductions
Work within established unit budget
Maintain on-going communication with the different disciplines that will be involved in or share ownership of the promotional events
Serve as the primary John Deere representative for events and sponsorships
What Skills You Need
Understanding of basic marketing strategies.
Sales and Marketing Experience
Knowledge of Agriculture, products, and customers
Strong communication skills
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and/or tasks
Willingness to travel up to 50%
Strong organizational and time management skills
