West Point Grey Academy is seeking an Operations & HR Administrative Assistant beginning September 8, 2025. This is a full-time position, eligible for benefits.

Our Operations & HR Assistant will contribute to a dynamic and collaborative school operations team by handling a variety of tasks to support both the operational and human resources functions of West Point Grey Academy. This is a dual reporting role, reporting to the Director of Operations and the Director of Human Resources. The Operations & HR Administrative Assistant will use their high degree of organization and attention to detail to support the perform administrative duties and assist with general office management. Highly personable with a customer-service mindset and keen awareness of confidentiality and privacy requirements, the ideal candidate will be comfortable using technology to assist with the wide variety of administrative tasks related to school operations, supporting our growing and active community with care and enthusiasm. This position also supports events and special events in other departments as needed.

In your first year at WPGA, you'll be directly involved in:
Operations Support/Administration
Supporting the Director of Operations in the day-to-day needs of the school:
Assist with record keeping and file management;
Maintain a database of contractors to support the school's operations and maintenance;
Provide administrative support including but not limited to receipt management, responding to initial inquiries, etc.
Supporting the Transportation Coordinator in the efficient and smooth operations of our school bus program:
Registration for morning bus service;
Manage transportation/field trip request;
Maintain transportation safety logs.
Assist the Events Coordinator in the planning and execution of school-related events as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
HR Support/Administration
Maintain and update employee records and HR information software.
Assist with posting job advertisements and managing applications.
Support HR events as needed.

Founded in 1996, West Point Grey Academy is an independent co-educational day school in Vancouver, British Columbia. Set on 18 acres with sweeping views of English Bay and the North Shore mountains, we offer future-focused programs to 940 students in junior kindergarten to grade 12. - Screening

If successful, you will progress to a final interview where we will discuss the school and how you see yourself as a member of our community.
