Job Summary
As a Manager in NetApp’s enterprise SE segment, you will partner with sales leadership and lead a team to grow market share in your assigned territory. For this role, that will be the Toronto-CAN market. Guiding your teams to successful outcomes means you:
Leverage technical, sales, and broader industry acumen to define effective go-to-market strategies for your region
Hire, coach, develop, and retain top talent
Set expectations and guide behavior to ensure readiness (and technical wins) against key focus areas
Interact with partners and customers in your territory as part of go-to-market and growth strategies
Identify and cultivate internal and external partnerships critical to your initiatives and your team’s success
Coach your team around account and deal strategy, technical feasibility of proposed solutions, and implementation of products/applications/solutions
The most effective candidate for this role will augment team leadership with targeted field engagement, leading from the front in interactions with key customer executives and with partners. Existing understanding of the NetApp portfolio - product positioning, solution applicability, and value proposition in a broader industry context - is desired but not required.
Job Requirements
8 + years’ experience, including at least 4 years’ experience as a people manager.
Creativity and thought leadership to positively impact growth in assigned markets
Ability to coach, equip, and support team members for maximum effectiveness
Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization – and to identify and mobilize resources on behalf of the team
Compelling industry, technology, and partner experience to create and execute a go-to-market plan
Effectiveness in selecting, hiring, and developing results-oriented professionals
Excellent verbal and written communications skills - including presentation skills and ability to dialog with senior and executive leadership
The OTE (On Target Earnings) Range for this position is C$242,250 - 313,500 CAD and will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
