What YOU Will Do
Investigate all accidents and serious incidents and report to the Health & Safety Manager,
Order a work stoppage if the situation so requires, and require immediate corrective action to be taken in the event of a site visit,
Issue and follow up on notices of non-compliance,
Compile statistics and monthly reports,
Verify the effectiveness of the prevention program and propose recommendations to the site manager and site committee,
Distribute and comment on work accident reports,
Record all information concerning accidents, fires and occupational illnesses, in order to provide a prevention guide,
Carry out periodic and daily inspections and ensure that corrective measures are completed,
Maintain an accident and observation register,
Enforce instructions, hygiene measures and all site-specific safety measures,
Document a weekly report of OHS interventions on site.
What YOU Will Bring
2-5 years of similar experience,
Valid driver's license,
Construction site health and safety card (ASP),
Excellent knowledge of the construction industry,
Good oral and written writing skills in French.
