About the role:
Reporting to the Risk Assurance and Advisory Director, the Senior Lead, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's governance, risk, and compliance programs. This role involves ensuring that the organization adheres to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. The Senior Lead GRC will work closely with various departments to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

In this role you will:
Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
Develop and maintain IT governance framework, policies, and procedures that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements
Ensure alignment of IT activities with both EVR’s IT framework, standard and procedures and enterprise risk management framework, standard and procedures
Monitor and report on key risk indicators and key control indicators
Develop and maintain the general IT risk and controls matrix, ensuring control owners and descriptions are up to date and being performed appropriately
Assist with any internal or external testing of controls and/or audits being performed by liaising with the Risk & Financial Governance and Assurance team, Internal Audit team and external auditors
Obtain and review all relevant SOC reports and address any deficiencies or gaps noted within the reporting period
Assist in the development and testing of IT controls, roles and permissions with relation to EVR’s SAP implementation project
Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the organization as well as maintaining and updating the IT enterprise risk register on an annual basis
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies including the implementation of critical controls and treatment plans
Monitor and report on risk management and compliance activities
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
Work closely with various departments to promote a culture of IT risk awareness and compliance
Provide guidance and support to the IT team and relevant business units on IT governance, risk, and compliance matters, including best practices
Communicate GRC policies and procedures to stakeholders as well as develop and administer training to relevant stakeholders on an annual basis
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or equivalent
Demonstrated progressive experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) roles, with a track record of increasing responsibility across risk assessment, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and policy development in complex, regulated environments
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent

$137,000 - $170,000 a year

The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.
