We are looking for a CAD Administrator who will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s CAD systems. This role involves assisting with the development and maintenance of CAD libraries, supporting standard design implementation, and helping integrate CAD systems with other company software. We are looking to add someone to our team who is a lateral thinker, able to navigate complexity and embrace ambiguity. It is crucial that our CAD Administrator promotes a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive process and procedure improvements within the engineering department
Maintain Solidworks PDM vault (settings, workflows, file and folder cards, add-ins, tasks, macros, and dispatch)
Maintain CAD library, including the implementation of standard parts and start models
Provide training for new users as required
Monitor and manage integration between PDM and ERP in collaboration with IT
Co-ordinate with IT to support any updates or resolve issues as required
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives, testing, & deployment
Support activities for mass update of data when required
Always conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanship
In accordance with Company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company
All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary education in Mechanical Systems Engineering, or similar
Strong knowledge of Solidworks PDM administration and Solidworks API
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office
